Alumni

Please use your Waseda Card or Alumni Association Card when going through the entrance gate at the library. Please note that visitors without a card cannot enter the library.
Please contact the Alumni Affairs Section, if you are in following cases:

You don't have either the Waseda Card or Alumni Association Card.
Your alumni card is already expired.
You have lost your alumni card.

Available Libraries

Alumni can use the Central Library, Toyama Library, Science and Engineering Library, and Tokorozawa Library (Library Locations). There are cases where a letter of introduction may be required from each library when using other libraries. Please check details at Libraries & Reading Rooms.

Use of S. Takata Memorial Research Library
Users can use the S. Takata Memorial Research Library when books and other materials are only held at the Takata Memorial Library and not available at other Waseda Libraries. For those who have the Waseda Card or Alumni Association Card and know the title and call number of the book, it is possible for you to use the book directly at the library. If you do not know the title and call number of the book, please consult with a staff member at the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Central Library, and you will be issued a “Request to use the S. Takata Memorial Research Library (a letter of introduction).”

Browsing and copying of materials appreciating audiovisual materials (only inside the library)

Borrowing of books and other materials, and use of the internet are not permitted. ※For using e-resources (database, online journals) subscribed to by Waseda University, please ask at the Central Library.
