This picture is called HARU-ASOBI INOKO SUGOROKU. Sugoroku is a game played particularly in the New Year season. Produced for the year 1899(year of pig,or wild boar), this Sugoroku piece features little wild boars ("inoko") in various historical anecdotes (some of those in oblivion today).
