The following university-owned materials may be borrowed between libraries.

Interlibrary loans between Tokorozawa Library and four other libraries (Central, Takata, Toyama, Science and Engineering)

  • When making a request, the library staff makes a reservation for you. Applicants may not apply for more than the number of books that can be reserved.
  • When making the request on WINE, materials should be picked up at the desk of the library that owns the materials.

Requesting journals, academic dissertations, and books from the Honjo Deposit Library

  • Users may have journals and dissertations delivered from the Honjo Deposit Library. Please note that these materials must be used within the library. Please pick up these materials at the library desk within two weeks (for Central Library).
[Books]
  • For requesting books, please submit your request to library desks where they owned the books. Online requests are not accepted. If you are eligible, you can borrow books.

Obtaining copies of journal articles

Standard time required Requests made in the morning will be processed by the same afternoon. Requests made in the afternoon will be processed the following day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). By late afternoon of the following day (excluding Sundays and holidays).
  • Arrival of copies may be delayed depending on the schedule of the library from which materials are requested.
  • Notification will be sent by email when copies arrive. Notification will not be made by phone.
  • Copies can be picked up at each library desk upon payment. Fees may also be payable by school fee transfers of individual research allowance, etc.
  • Requests to obtain copies of journal articles are not accepted at the S. Takata Memorial Research Library. Please use the Reference Desks at other libraries or send your application online.
